NHS Workforce Alliance’s Permanent Recruitment 2 framework offers UK coverage for the recruitment of permanent and fixed term appointments, and secondments.
The framework, which has now been running for more than a year, offers a compliant route for permanent roles via recruitment agencies for individual candidate placements for clinical and non-clinical roles, and access to all services in a modular format.
The core services of the suppliers on the framework include search services to find applicants, evaluation of applicants and appointing applicants to the role. The suppliers also provide strategy and planning services, to help you plan for recruitment gaps and ensure your organisation has the right people with the right skills, and talent development services, to help you develop a pool of potential applicants with the needed skill sets.
Trusts have already spent around £1m on suppliers via the framework, with November seeing the highest amount of spend so far, and interest in the framework continues to grow.
The framework has been expanded, from its predecessor, to include a clinical lot (Lot 1), alongside non-clinical roles, such as financial and administrative jobs, which were offered under the previous framework.
Roles employed under this framework include a wide range of consultants, clinical leads and speciality doctors, and non-clinical roles such as finance, project managers, digital roles, buyers, administrators, IT, procurement roles and workforce planning.
The framework is easy to use and many customers have been able to self-serve by finding everything they need on the Workforce Alliance partner websites.
