A huge thank you to the event organisers for gathering such forward-thinking professionals from the NHS to address current challenges and help drive positive change.
The event kicked off with our sponsored breakfast session to a full auditorium eager to hear the panel debate on current workforce issues and how we move our NHS workforce from ‘surviving to thriving’ – the key theme of the event. Interesting and insightful thoughts were shared on how to attract, retain and support our NHS workforce whether substantive or temporary, with particular focus on the need for more flexible working opportunities.

Throughout the day we heard from an impressive range of speakers who all championed the need for change to create a more sustainable and inclusive NHS workforce.
As well as our involvement in the breakfast panel discussion, it was a busy day for the Alliance team managing the exhibition stand. Lots of fantastic connections were made with our NHS colleagues and we look forward to catching up with them to explore further how we can add value by addressing their workforce challenges.
