As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, we recently invited NHS organisations that have used our services or attended our webinars to take part in our 2026 Satisfaction Survey. This is the second consecutive year that we have conducted the survey, and we are pleased to report a consistently high level of satisfaction across both years.
Feedback from the 2026 survey was overwhelmingly positive. Respondents highlighted the quality of support provided, the expertise of our team, and the significant impact our services have on workforce management and achieving national policy objectives. Our monthly newsletter and webinars were also rated highly.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate. A summary of the survey results is provided below.
Feedback on our support
80% of respondents had received direct support from the Alliance, and of those:
- 24% had received support to manage their suppliers or contracts
- 24% had received help with frameworks such as Call-Off Agreements or Further Competitions
- 19% told us they had received support to reduce reliance on agency staffing or managing agency supply
89% of those that had received Alliance support, told us that our support helped them meet NHS England / government policies or targets including:
- 41% said our support helped meet targets to reduce agency staff reduction
- 19% used our support for bank usage reduction
100% of those that had used Alliance support, rated the responsiveness to their enquiries as either excellent or good, with 76% rating our support responsiveness as excellent.
97% of those that had used Alliance support, were either very satisfied or satisfied with the support provided, with 78% stating they were very satisfied.
100% of those that had used Alliance support, rated the knowledge and experience of our team as either excellent or good, with 84% rating our knowledge and experience as excellent.
Those that had used Alliance support, provided an excellent NPS (Net Promotor Score) score of +70.
All of the NHS Workforce Alliance team that I am in
regular contact with are incredibly knowledgeable,
supportive and friendly.
Feedback on our frameworks
76% of respondents had used our framework agreements.
97% of those that had used our framework were either very satisfied or satisfied, with 46% stating they were very satisfied.
97% of those that had used our framework agreements agreed they helped meet NHS England or government policies or targets.
94% of those that had used our frameworks stated they were either very easy or easy to use, with 31% stating they are very easy to use.
Those that had used our framework agreements, provided a good NPS score of +32.
Support is always available as and when we need it
and our contact is very reliable.
Feedback on our communications
54% of respondents stated they had read our monthly newsletter.
96% of respondents that had read our monthly newsletter rated it as either excellent or good, with 16% rating it as excellent.
63% of respondents had attended our webinars.
Of those that had attended our webinars, 96% rated them as either excellent or good, with 48% rating them as excellent.
Overall, 97% of respondents stated they were either very satisfied or satisfied with our communications .
Would you recommend us to a colleague?
Overall, respondents provided a very good NPS score of +45 when asked if they would recommend us to a colleague.
The team are super helpful and responsive and I value
their advice and support.
Demonstrating value across the NHS
The 2026 Satisfaction Survey provided a valuable insight into how NHS organisations experience and benefit from Alliance services. The results reinforce the strength of our relationships with NHS organisations and will help us to improve and develop going forward.
