The Alliance is pleased to announce that it has recently become a member of the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA), strengthening our connection with the wider NHS people leaders and HR community.
As the leading professional organisation for people management in healthcare, HPMA brings together people managers, HR professionals and organisations from across the NHS to share expertise, champion best practice and support improvements in workforce planning and people management.
Joining the HPMA network marks an important step for the Alliance. It will provide valuable opportunities to collaborate with NHS people managers and HR experts to further strengthen our understanding of workforce priorities, ensuring our services continue to support the NHS in driving a cost effective and sustainable workforce that meets national policy targets without compromising on quality and patient safety.
Becoming part of this respected network means we can contribute to more conversations that are shaping the future of the NHS workforce, an example of which can be found in the HPMA June newsletter 2026, where our South West Engagement Manager, Jessica Emmett shares her thoughts on how effective workforce procurement helps NHS organisations achieve the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan goals.
